Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent - a season of introspection. The sanctuary will be open on Wednesday, February 18 from 9 am  to 4 pm for those who might like to spend a bit of time in contemplation. At 12:00 pm, those who would like to receive ashes (see below!) will have an opportunity to do so.

What is "imposition of ashes"?
"Imposition of Ashes" is the ancient practice of being marked with ashes, either on your forehead or on your hand, as a reminder that we are dust, and to dust we will return.
