WVUC Fall Flea Market 2017

Thank you to everyone who contributed in some way to make the 2017 Spring Flea Market a success.

Not only does it raise funds to support numerous causes, it also serves as a leading example of the concept of reuse and recycle.

When: Saturday Nov 4, 2017 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm

What is available in our Flea Market Departments: Art Gallery and Frames, Books, Records, CD’s, DVD’s, Clothing for Children, Women and Men, Electrical, Hardware, Home Décor, Jewelry, Kitchenware, Linens, Sewing and crafts, Shoes, Sporting goods, Purses, Toys, Children’s books and Treasure trove.

How to Donate Goods

Cut off for donations to be announced.

Donations in good saleable condition will be accepted starting around late August (date to be announced)..

Drop off information: Please leave items inside the building doors off the Church parking lot.

We cannot accept: Items in poor condition or large bulky items such as chesterfields, dining room sets, beds and mattresses, recliners, large TV’s, older computers and monitors.

For safety reasons we do not accept helmets, children’s car seats, cribs, or
any equipment that does not meet current government safety standards.

Thank you to everyone who donated items or contributed in any way to the success of our Fall 2016 Flea Market. It helped WVUC fulfill the Flea Market Mission which is to service the local community and beyond by:

  • creating fellowship among our members and the community at large
  • recycling used goods
  • providing useful goods to people in our community
  • providing the opportunity for gift shopping in a friendly atmosphere
  • funding the mission of WVUC in service for Christ and God's Kingdom.

After Flea Market day, everything that hasn’t sold is given to various organizations such as the Developmental Disabilities Association, First United Church, Lions Gate Hospital Thrift Store and other organizations.

How to Volunteer

If you would you like become a volunteer at the Flea Market to help us meet our mission, contact Dianne at 604-926-3061.  There is lots of opportunities by sorting donated goods, helping during set up or during sale days.
